My question is why are so many people bothering him? Same as why do so many people bother devs that login? Watch or don't watch, why bother people? And while they are mobbing him makes game bad for him and for others just trying to play. Do people have no respect for other people?
Same reason why people do dumb things when they see live news crews. It's literally their only way to feel famous even if for 1 second.
And those adult who are following him and acting like children should act like adult , this is literally harassementYou don't get to be a huge streamer, publicly announce that you'll be playing a new game and what date/time it will be, and livestream your gameplay against advice to the contrary, and then expect you will be left alone to quietly enjoy your experience. He knew/planned for this to happen.
At this point I think it's the WoW-hating part of this community that is purposefully griefing Asmon. This whole thread is proof of how toxic they can be.
I flipped over and people are griefing him killing the mobs he can't even get credit. At least if it was day one you are all the same level. But he mentioned some damage lvl 80s must be one shotting stuff.
Yeah every game has people who grief for whatever reason.
unironically it would honestly be better if they did away with the instancing everything and instead just have it like it was in 1.0 where you walked into a area and if it had too many players it'll just take abit longer to load in but the game would still register your movement and interactions.

I know that SE has banned people in the past for mount blocking. Would be cool if they started doing it again, just throwing the idea out there for the GMs.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
