I flipped over and people are griefing him killing the mobs he can't even get credit. At least if it was day one you are all the same level. But he mentioned some damage lvl 80s must be one shotting stuff.
Yeah every game has people who grief for whatever reason.
And yet I see numerous heavensward, stormblood, and shadowbringers extreme and savage mounts.
See the mental gymnastics people will make to delude themselves that this community isn't toxic at all?
Do people think like none of his fans were playing FF14 and the main reason he is playing it now is because those fans kept requesting him to?
They're eager to try to paint the community as bad as WoW's. In reality, the most of the people floundering over Asmon right now are his fans that have been playing XIV for a while and have been asking him to play it for years, and are finally able to see their favorite streamer play it. Annoying? Yes. But I'm not going to pretend most of the people on him are griefing him and paint it as 'the community'.
Here's my question. Doesn't this same thing happen when Yoshi-P comes on with people swarming his location? A celebrity will be a celebrity.
Swarming a game developer is different than swarming a new player trying to enjoy the game. He's said multiple times that the people are making it difficult and not fun. They're killing his quest npcs and actively following him, making the quest npc not load.
At this point I think it's the WoW-hating part of this community that is purposefully griefing Asmon. This whole thread is proof of how toxic they can be.
