"Unable to obtain character data" Inquiry ticket #15952333

Hello,

I am one of many who are getting the 1016 error "Unable to obtain character data". Apparently, I am not the only one. I wasn't sure if making a separate thread would be better or replying in an already made thread about the same issue. I was afraid my own post might get lost in the bloat.

I went through a chat support session with a representative and was told that the problem is coming from the server not being able to recognize my character as logged out. It seems like the only thing I can do is wait for the server to resolve itself. The congestion wasn't helping but at 2 am the server is not congested anymore and it still has not resolved my character's logout. The rep told me to post on the forum if it still hasn't resolved. It's been about 12+ hours. The character in question is named "Squid Eater".
