Getting card no. 83 without going THM?

So, lately I've been working off and on at collecting TT cards, since I read that the TT mount requires you to have cards 1-312.

One snag I ran into today is that card 83 is won from Yayake in Ul'dah; who is the THM/BLM receptionist. I'm not THM/BLM, so when I talk to her, she asks me if I want to join. I didn't have any plans to go THM/BLM, but it appears I can't get her card unless I do.

Any workarounds? Does this mean everyone who has the Magicked Card mount is a BLM?

Just... join the THM guild? Unless you're avoiding unlocking certain classes for RP reasons (in which case you are, in fact, out of luck), why would you not just join every guild even if you don't plan to level all the classes?

It should be enough to accept the quest (but not complete it) - once you've done that, you should be able to play her. Keep the quest in your journal until you have the card(s), then cancel the quest.

So no, you dont need to join the guild and become a THM to complete your cards collection.

Eh, I may do that, even though being a BLM doesn't quite "fit" with my character... not to mention I don't have the glamour dresser space for another combat class. If I had some free glamour plates it'd be a no-brainer. I'm nowhere near completing cards 1-312 otherwise, so I have some time to think about it.
