Compulsory grouping?

I left EQ2 because the game was trending towards grouping. I thought I had found a home here until I discovered that you have to group to progress. I didn't like it but I did it because I had to. Now I have to raid? You have got to be kidding! I am disabled - my hands don't work properly and I am anything but nimble fingered. I spend most of my group-time dead. Of what use will I be to a raid? What a pity - I really liked this game. Guess I need to find something else

I am a non-raid player.
Basically, I play solo.

I've been playing for over 3 years, but I'm slowly working my way through the main story and haven't completed patch 4.0 yet.

I enjoy leaving the main story behind, playing gatherer and crafter, and playing PvP.

However, I have rarely heard anything from others about my way of playing this way.

I've had friends jokingly say,
"I thought you were one of those people who never progressed past patch 2.0! "

My friends enjoy playing FF14 in various ways, such as taking screenshots of their characters, housing, hold a concert, and immersing themselves in mahjong.

Of course, there are also those who enjoy raid.

It depends on the person.
I think it's fine for Smallen to play the way he likes.
(Wouldn't it be better for you to look for another group instead of looking for another game?)
