I'm rather quick to bash Blizzard, though I'm not as harsh about it as I used to be. Comes with the territory though. I've gotten over it for the most part, though I will always be a little salty because of what happened to WoW. Life's too short to be so stressed about something, which is part of what fueled me to quit WoW to begin with. All of that said, the very premise of this thread is incorrect. FF XIV has not surpassed WoW. Not yet, anyway. If Blizzard keeps to their current course though...it probably will in a few short years. Not THIS year, but most likely a few down the road. I don't want either game to fail, so I'd like to see Blizzard realize the error of their ways, but I doubt they will at this point.

Not with that type of Attitude. But seriously anything is possible. FFXIV keeps growing and WoW keeps losing player. It could happen in the future, but it would most likely be Blizzards fault if it does.

Yeah it is pretty funny. I just hope it wakes up Activision to finally start cleaning house at Blizzard to hire people who know how to communicate with the playerbase. Ion HazExcuses has overseen the utter destruction of WoW as an RPG and standardized borrowed power.

The addicts WoW has will die eventually... right? Right now I see a lot of people shifting over to ff but so many are just so addicted and can't let go of the past, Blizzard could crap in their hands and they would still buy their next expansion and a 6 month sub.

as long as SE makes enough money to keep the lights on I am happy. I switched my preferences from WoW a long time ago, and dont wish them ill fortune, but they made their course, and where it leads them is up to them and their loyal fans. FF has loyal fans and here we are.

I dont need big numbers to justify playing a game. I enjoy it, thats all that matters.
