Of course if it give too much then people will only do that, but if you limit to experience points once per major patch, it will mean it will reset 6 times per expansion and soon with 6.0 we will have 18 class to level up. (BLU does not get exp)

It does nt need to be alot just a little, because the 50/60/70 quests will also have a little and people will do the dungeons / fates / roulettes .... so just a little and maybe only up to level 70 (last before expansion cap) if you re afraid for the last expansion.

A little push but not too push that will make people take time doing new game+ i think and it could be great.
Given that the purpose of New game+ is to allow all of those folks who jump-skipped to MaxLevel-10 or who skipped reading every quest text or who just want to go back and reminisce about the 'good old days' of ARR that they last went through in 2014 ... it won't happen. There are many easier ways to level up -- 4K XP for a quest in ARR, 12 million XP for the daily MSQ roulette ... which would you focus on?

There is people who jump skipped and there is people who skip reading, but there are also people who just want, after many years, redo the story they liked, or like to level up doing story quest, even if slower. I am upping my craft class from 50 to 80 (depending of the jobs the level varies), i am could rush doing leve/firmament quests only in succession but i prefer doing beastmen quest / delivery / story class / ... quests slower, varied, storied and at my pace.
Its to give an optional ways, those you wish to rush or are not interested will not do it and even those interested can sometimes redo all story and roulette at the same time.

There are people who wants to do it for the story sake, ok but maybe there is also people like me who every two years want to level up a class through old story quests ? (while doing all dungeons/fates along the way to supplement the weak exp)
For the bots/forced content players, that s why i propose to have a lock per patch or even expansion on the experience points rewards and to have a rather low experience rewards points (that can be supplement by other content of that level).
