Wooden Steps

Okay so, it seems impossible to change the facing of Wooden Steps without glitching.

I bring them out into a house. They face the wrong way from what I need. There seems literally no way to rotate them to simply face the opposite direction.

Anyone know how to do this without having to glitch them onto something and rotate it instead? Seems beyond crazy this is an issue when it shouldn't be.

Unless we get a method to mirror furniture at some point or they add a second set that goes in the opposing direction, you're out of luck on this. You'll either have to make a partition part of the design or glitch the stairs to go in the opposite direction.

Just seems like a huge oversight in the design. You can rotate so many other pieces. Yet for whatever reason this one you can't. It makes really no sense at all.

It is a shame we can't flip the stairs around.
I agree it feels like a stupid error.
I hope they at least add stairs going the other way. It feels so overdo I wanna submit them into the next furniture design contest...

I'm not sure. But you can technically rotate them all via a glitch.

Which begs the question, why SE hasn't fixed a way to do it legitimately?

I don't know of a single wall decoration item that can be rotated.
The only solution is to put the stairs onto a wall, then remove the wall to make the stairs face the other direction, unless they put mirrored verion into the game.

The anchor point is static so you have to attach them to a Stage Panel or something else then move them into the position you want.

I actually find it to be an advantage because the steps are wider than I want sometimes. With the anchor point being away from the wall, I can "push" them into the wall so they're the width I want without them snapping back to the wall after I remove the Stage Panel. I can't do that when the anchor is wall side.

The entire house decoration ways is a huge flaw in design, fortunately with the wooden steps it is just minor, but still... SE need to make or give us the tools to place anything we want in a 3D sense without having to glitch up or down.

and nope, it does not take much skill if any to glitch things up and down, but it is a very irritating proces to do.

I'm reluctant to ask them to fix things in that way. While i agree it would be nice and make things easier i cant help but think they will end up limiting our creativity in some manner to the point we wish they had not touched it at all.
