mmm...regardless of people's opinion on the poster...it's not like people haven't been crying for epic changes with housing... This isn't the first game I played with limited house but it's definitely the first and only game that dared to put guild/FC housing with personal housing. If anything, this whole thing answers my questions on why they should've been separate from the start. Like FC could've been given a HQ tied behind a Grand Company NPC. FC would no longer have to worry about a house since they just need to meet requirements, scalpers wouldn't be a thing since FC housing would be gone and on top of that, it could free up entire wards...Not like we haven't seen FC leaders and member STILL feel the need to go out of their way to get personal house even with FC housing.

But of course, just my personal thoughts on this whole thing. I'm not sure if SE even sees housing as a problem at this point.

It's not even that big of a deal. I can still sub for half the year while keeping my home. 78 bucks for the whole year .. some people spend more on cigarettes lol

Lets face it, there's nothing to do in game right now. Zadnor DOA, the MSQ only took like 10 mins to cutscene skip, and there's no real content to do right now.

The only reason I have a sub right now is to keep the house that I don't even use. This is blatantly just a money grab by square.

If you don't use it, why do you want to keep it so bad?
Let someone else take it that will use it and you can just get another one when you play again. With the new island farm content coming, you might not even miss having a house once you play again.

I have a house, and I don't use mine either. I almost lost mine in fact, and I was still logging in once every two weeks so I could post on the forums.

Trolling aside, this was actually what motivated me to finally give up my house. For the first time in 8 years, I've cancelled my sub and, honestly, I've never felt more free.

How about making the current housing system better too ? Ppl loose their house because of they take break and others can't even get one.
If instanced housing becomes a thing, the current housing system needs an update as well. It's rare to even see ppl there, what will be the point to choose current housing instead of instanced ?

Because a lot of people I regularly play with live in the same ward as me!

I also just like the general 'immersiveness' of sharing a neighborhood.

I mean, it's been basically years now since I've seen a neighbour IRL!

But options are always great, so I am in favour of instanced housing, but as an option. Cool?

Am also pretty sure that instanced-house-housing would get rid of the demotimer aswell, which would make everyone happy I bet!
