Oh, i'm sure they will. Many people here seem to enjoy gangin up on others. Whether there is a reason for it doesn't matter, but i suppose giving attention to someone who is desperate to get it is a mutually beneficial relationship.

I read another thread here where people talked about some "kiwifarm". I can only surmise that these people spend their days doing this back and forth for entertainment. But that's none of my business.

I wholeheartedly agree with your whole post, but sorry, I will heavily disagree that there's bullying going on
as you've yourself said, you were picked out because you were different, because of what others perceived as 'faults', but that's simply not the case here
mere disagreements are seen as personal attacks, people mentioning that damien has a certain history is not people bullying him - it's warning others that he has a history of the exact behaviour that he has exhibited in this thread and others before
I sincerely hope that it's all just an act and his way of trolling - and if it isn't, that he genuinely takes some time off from the forum because it's not having a good effect on him
but honestly, things like...

I have had people send me messages in game with insults. I had to put my character on busy mode for a whole day just to get it to stop. All of my rooms are also locked, because if I don't then someone will come in and bother me about how awful they think I am on the forums.

I don't buy this for one second, sorry. not only would would those people endanger their accounts for no reason, it's also just simply too much effort for I assume 99% of the people who 'bully' him
I doubt it's true, at all, and if you check his post history you'll see that he's made some pretty manipulative and 'bullying' posts in the last few months, which many of the 'bullies' remember and point out in response to his supposed victimhood

other people have linked threads that are several years old at this point and you'll see that he was doing similar things back then, too

If we're taking this thread at face value and in good faith...

This is one of those situations where I think that the prudent course is to take a break and step away from the forum if it is starting to cause someone stress. I hold the firm belief that although this place can be wild at times, it is still far more civil than many of the alternatives. For example, Reddit has a downvote system that is easily abused to punish anything that isn't considered to be 'group think'. Twitter, meanwhile is...well...it's Twitter.

Both also have no real rule against profanity and it's very easy to create 'dummy' accounts to circumvent bans.

I like to post here myself. It's fun. I've met some interesting people through this place! I don't take myself too seriously and I've certainly been faced with situations where someone's reaction to a post of mine has either rubbed me the wrong way or made me raise an eyebrow in utter bafflement.

Yet I don't let it get to me. If I see a thread or conversation go downhill, do you know what I do?

I take that frustration and go work out. I make myself stronger and pursue those gains. I see it as taking that negative energy and repurposing it into something more positive. Something that will benefit rather than harm me.

It may or may not work for other people, but it may be worth trying.

Look mate. If there’s anything that would be concerning, is that you’re not realizing those legit known trolls has now marked you as their source of fun times & we all are aware how their ‘fun times’ are definitely our -bad times-. You will never want to feed them trolls, ever.

I ask you kindly to take a deep breath, calm down, and step away from this forum, please. Get your much needed break.
