I have reported people who were being hurtful to me, and I asked the moderators for help over and over, but I'm not getting a reply. People will NOT stop bullying me no matter how many times that I ask them to. I don't know if anything is being done. How is this acceptable with the games terms of service?
Not only do I witness what I experience myself, but there are a lot of trolls who post nonsense that should have been removed a long time ago, but they are allowed to keep going. Some of the trolls here are a little funny, and light hearted in nature, but I don't understand why the worst ones seem to still exist here.
I didn't want to have to make this post, because I know its going to rile people up, and bring even more negative attention toward me, but I don't know what else to do. I want all of the bullying and ganging up on me to cease. I want to continue to enjoy the game I love, and also be able to post feedback on here without people making me a target.
It is fine when people peacefully disagree with me, or anyone else, but the amount of negativity, ganging up, and hate train style of bullying that I have received does constitute as cyberbullying, and it SUCKS. I have had people send me messages in game with insults. I had to put my character on busy mode for a whole day just to get it to stop. All of my rooms are also locked, because if I don't then someone will come in and bother me about how awful they think I am on the forums.
Square Enix, I am begging you to PLEASE do something about this. Start actively looking through your forum, and pay attention to the amount toxicity and negativity that goes on. I know I'm not the only one who is experiencing things like this here. When you have in game usernames connected to these forum accounts, people can and they do cause problems in the game, and sometimes even real life.
Please just look into your hearts, and think about why cyberbullying prevention is so important. It absolutely does affect peoples self esteem, and mental health. It can't be 100% prevented, but it absolutely can be mitigated.
