I know necro and all, but the game literally tells you what counts in the instance if you take the time to read it.

Your teacher may not have understood it properly or maybe it was just a simplified version of the subject, but regardless of what you learned in school, 1 is not considered a prime number.I know this is a necro troll thread, but two things stick out to me:
One, they keep referring to Indivisible only. It's like they don't realize that the bar is only the warning sign to pay attention to what the robot says next.
Two, I learned primes are numbers that are only divisible by 1 and itself. Just because "itself" is also 1 doesn't change matters. It's divisible by 1 and 1, hence, prime.
For the first item it's been too long since I ran that raid and paid attention to the text so I don't recall exactly what's said.
The ability is called indivisible, just like how the ability when he reduces your HP is subtract and when he wants you to be a multiple of a number (or a factor) is multiply.Your teacher may not have understood it properly or maybe it was just a simplified version of the subject, but regardless of what you learned in school, 1 is not considered a prime number.

The actual text tells you "calculate values to primes"
Yeah. Personally, I still don't get it and I've been around awhile and ran that raid a bunch of times. But I'm also terrible at math. All my life after high school I have only need the 4 basics. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It took me years to gain even a basic understanding of regular high school algebra. Don't think I was ever taught primes. If I was it didn't stick and/or I don't remember, which is the most likely scenario. Again, I'm terrible at math. lol When I run that raid I try to be a tank so I can just invuln my way through that boss. I take my 1 in 4 chance every time the addition/subtraction phase comes up. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don't. My brain just refuses to learn for whatever reason. The dictionary definition of a Prime Number per Merriam Webster: any integer other than 0 or ± 1 that is not divisible without remainder by any other integers except ± 1 and ± the integer itself
Also,
A prime number is an integer greater than 1 and whose only positive divisors are 1 and itself.
You can argue with the game's implementation all you want. Perhaps they could be more clear in the description or name it something different, but 1 is still not a prime number by definition.
Imagine looking up dictionaries for a definition instead of a number theory textbook. SAD!
1 is not prime because it would literally break all math involving prime numbers (which includes cryptography) if it were considered prime. Simplest example: Prime Factorization. Every integer n > 1 has a single unique prime factorization. If 1 is prime, then that falls apart because instead of 4 having a single prime factorization 2 * 2, it now has infinite prime factorizations 2 * 2 * 1^n for all n members of the counting numbers.
