Bug Report: Construct 7 mechanic is wrong

Most mathematicians say (nowdays) that a primenumber is a number that can be only divided by two numbers that is 1 and itself. 1 can be only divided by 1 which leads to the fact that most mathematicians don't consider 1 as a prime anymore. Which is a good idea since the meaning of a prime is that it can only be divided by two numbers, 1 would be a irregularity in that matter which would undermine the meaning of prime numbers which is being only dividable through two numbers. So yes and no, many mathematicians considered 1 as a prime number. Most mathematicians nowdays consider 1 not as a prime number. And that is that.

To make it more clear again. 1 would be only dividable through 1. All other primes are dividable through two numbers which is one and itself. Cause of that definition 1 can't be a true prime since it's just dividable through a single number that is 1. It makes no sense to categorize numbers and then allow a irregular into it. That's why the view changed and 1 isn't considered as a primenumber anymore and that is also now shown in the game.

Gonna copy/paste the same thing I wrote on your other thread because I’m seeing a pattern.

As with most things in life, it is your own responsibility to be educate yourself and do due diligence.

It is not our(this forum’s) job to explain to you how primes work. Despite having done so anyway, it is also not our responsibility to somehow have to defend or convince you of how the math rules work.

Let’s review:

1. Regardless of semantics and whether you understand it or not, 1 is not a prime number.
2. The game even puts a note with listed primes that very specifically does not include 1.
3. The definition of a prime is any number that can only be divided by two separate numbers: itself and 1.
4. Itself and 1 are not two separate numbers. (in 1's case)

Wrong. If you paid attention in Algebra, a prime number cannot be divided by itself or 1. Literally no math teacher will tell you they have to be separate.

Did you not pay attention when you teacher tell you not to cite Wikipedia? It's for a reason and it's because Wikipedia is wrong half the time. I wish more children in America listened to their teachers.

You realize the bottom of the page has sources, yes? And that were I writing an academic paper, I would cite those and not Wikipedia, yes?

Side question, does the "prime number" mechanic register if your HP is set to 2, 3, or 5 without adding? Because I could've sworn the mechanic requires the player to actually stand in a number circle to add up. If that's the case, then it wouldn't matter if 1 is a prime number or not, because you just wouldn't be doing the mechanic. But I can't remember if that's how it's supposed to work or not.

You don't have to stand in a circle if you have a prime value as your hp.
