    1 isn't a prime number because its not considered to be a number at all. its considered to be "The Quantifier" or "The unit" around which all numbers or "integers" are based.

    It's the same rule that means 1 is not a triangular number or a square number or any other type of number. Because 1 is "the unit".

    Without 1 for example. 2, 3, 7, a million. All become unquantifiable.
