The third time now of not getting a house.

The first time was launch day of 5.55.

I stayed up all night long and RIGHT on the dot of when the maintenance was suppose to be over, it was extended by an hour and a half... then ended early.

Because there was no warning or exact time of this, I was put in a 200 person queue with 3 houses up for grabs in the Goblet on Balmung.

All three houses was gone by the time I got in the server, even though I stayed up til 6 am trying to get it.


Next was spam clicking a lavender beds and when I went to turn my camera, timer was up and someone got it.


Now again, from 8:33 PM til 9:12 am, I've stayed up clicking a placard, the first 4 hours with no one there, only for it to be taken at 9:12 am when prime time was 7am.


I am tired of this. I'm disabled. I've stayed up all night causing massive pain in my hands trying to get this house while having internal bleeding issues due to my disability because of instead of being able to rest it off, I had to keep clicking a placard for an RNG timer that is unknown.


This system is horrible.

Add more wards, or AT LEAST tell us when the timer is going to be up so I don't have to strain my hands for over 12 hours.


There's another house opening. and apparently the prime time for it is at 4 pm EST.


Awesome. So I get to decide to either finally sleep, or to cause more physical harm to myself.

Except they aren't in Balmung. I do have an apartment, but that's only because I got lucky enough that a few slots opened up. I still rather have a house. Apartments aren't really a solution when houses have way more potential, space, and object placements, as well as guest management.


I can't "Commission" someone to decorate my apartment, because it's impossible to give someone building rights.

Please don't strain yourself over 12 hours regardless, especially if you're experiencing the physical issues you've described.

Noone is entitled to have a House, if anyone should be, then it is Free Companies and even then, there are some specimen who just create a FC just to have that extra storageroom inside their House.

So in short, until this matter gets adressed seriously, its just a free4all in which only the fastest ones win. Good Luck next time.

that is indeed a big downside, same with FC rooms.
I have seen some pretty well made apartments/fc rooms though.

I think I've lost 3-4 houses now due to inactivity, one of them being Balmung. Never had such an issue getting new ones. I really don't get how people are having such a rough time with this. I spend maybe 3-5 days max trying to get a home. Are people not settling for cottages or something?

In reality, you don't need a house, you just want one. Which is a difference tho, I understand the appeal! Big time.

But... Remember that your health is the most important thing ever.

SE has fallen down on the job with housing. It's ridiculous. I've lost on 26 lots now. Just give me bloody instanced housing already.
