Main Quest Continuation Problem / Main Quest stuck

Steps: Some days ago, the Servers crashed, disconnecting almost every player on the Lich Server. I haven’t been affected immediately because I was doing Sohm Al for my Mainstory progress. The second I was done with the dungeon I got kicked out, just like anybody else and the Dungeon didn’t count for the mainstory. At first I didn’t think much of it, because I could simply reclear it. But now I am unable to complete that Mainstory quest because no matter how I reclear the Dungeon Sohm Al, it doesn’t count as cleared for the mainstory (I tried it synced and unsynced for at least 15 times now ). The story is still stuck at the point where I have to enter Sohm Al and there is no indication I ever cleared except of the Party Finder. Even The Unending Journey doesn’t show any related cutscene as unlocked. I have sumbmitted this bug before and got no response or action taken. I have been stuck with this problem for the past week and can’t proceed whatsoever. I’ve sent this bug to the Gamemasters already who told me that wasn’t the right place. I also send it over the ingame bug report feature. Sadly it also isn’t possible to abandon the Mainstory quest “Mourn in Passing”.
Is it possible for me to get rid of that particular Mainstory? Can a Gamemaster grant me the quest as cleared or just the dungeon for the Quest? I am seriously out of ideas and so are my Mentor friends who haven’t encountered anything like this before.
I have bought myself the subscription a little longer than a week ago and it saddens me that because of that bug I am unable to proceed. There is nothing at all in the FF14 subreddits, official forum or bug report helper. I would be very glad if anybody could assist, especially because this problem seems to be very unique and unsolvable without any Gamemaster helping out.

Edit: Turns out this was not a bug at all. After the first clear of the dungeon you are supposed to be placed in the churning mists. However, since the servers crashed and the players have been thrown out of the world after the dungeon, the game did not have the opportunity to put you where you needed to be. The problem has been solved by speaking to the dragon next to the dungeon entrance, bringing you in the churning mists and resulting in the cutscenes to be played as they should be.

It's probably expecting you to continue the dialog from the end of the dungeon.. I can't remember if that was an instance area or just at the end of the volcano..

But you should be able to open your journal and abandon the story quest and pick it up again.

They mentioned that they can't abandon it. Some quests don't let you do that.

I've seen a bug like this before for another quest, where the quest only partially progresses to the next part, but not enough for you to continue by talking to someone.

There is a small cutscene that takes place inside Sohm Al after beating it in the story and leaving. This cutscene does not seem to be triggering for the OP.
