Prohibit the advertising of content sales via the cross-server PF

    1. It's spam - Other examples of spam include FC recruitment and Casinos, but blacklisting takes care of those fast and with ease. No such option exists with the PF.

    2. It promotes RMT - Receiving payment across servers

    3. It engages in prohibited activity - http://support.na.square-enix.com/ru...1&tag=users_en

"3.1 Sharing Account Information. You may not share your account or login information (such as your Square Enix ID and password) with anyone except your legal guardian, your minor child, or Square Enix. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login information, even from your friends and family. If you violate this provision, you may unexpectedly lose access to your account to a third party without recourse against Square Enix. Square Enix will not be obliged to credit your Square Enix Account with Crysta or other points or awards, which may have been used by a third party as a result of the violation of this clause."

The ideal solution would be to add a way to filter out such advertisements in the cross-server PF, but that won't happen anytime soon.

You need to report these guys. They are manipulating a system to do already prohibited activity. Make a screenshot, use something like Imgur to host it, send the link via the “Report Harassment” button under Support Desk. It is used for more than harassment - you can report cheaters, bots, and all kinds of things through it. You’ll help SE crack down on the behavior.

When you say content sales, you mean selling content for real money, right?

Groups have been selling clears for EX/"Savage" content since Coil was a thing, probably even before that too. As far as I know most of them do it for gil which isn't against ToS. What they do is go into the instance you want a clear/loot for, have you die ASAP, clear it as a 7-man team, and if you arrange it beforehand let you have the drop at the end. If you see someone stupid enough to advertise the service for real money in PF by all means follow Kisagami's suggestion to report them, though. Just keep in mind that SE won't care about your screen shots or video proof- they vet claims with their internal investigation tools only.

This is merely SE covering themselves in the event you sharing account information leads to unauthorized use. Basically, you bare all the consequences if someone screws with the account you gave them access to.

As for the advertisements. None are specifically against the ToS since they don't mention account information in-game. Whether it promotes RMT or not is irrelevant, and has nothing to do with the sellers. Plenty of people who buy clears have millions worth of gil all from legitimate means, especially with how easy and limited in value it is. Regardless, should SE ever attempt to ban sell advertisements, they'll simply be worded different: "Want to clear Omega? Message on discord to discuss setting something up."

    BTW...

Can you open the trade window in an instance?

OP may be referring to cross server clear sells specifically. You can't transfer gil between servers, so the only thing paying for cross server clears would be RMT.

Content selling refers to the selling of content. That's all. Whether it's for gil or real money, it's still spam (referring to the listings in pf)

Cross-server pf wasn't a thing back then. Ultimate is already being cleared with 7 people?

The advertising in the cross-server pf. Not the selling itself.

Ah, okay. Thanks for clarifying. With that said, if it's real money, then yeah, report it. But it's for gil...well, no, that's not against ToS. And it isn't spam either. Spam is the mess that RMT sellers say/shout in the cities - they don't flood the PF, at least not on my server. And honestly, I don't necessarily have an issue with people selling clears. It's their reputation on the lines, so if people get burned out of their gil, only thing they can do is warn other players. Nor does it affect me personally, as I don't buy or sell content (though it's sounding more and more like a good idea with new players wanting to clear older content). And really, in the PF, it shouldn't be affecting you at all...but out of curiosity...why does this bother you? Selling clears for gil, that is. We can agree that selling for RMT should be punished.

It hasnt accured to anyone that they might just accidently clicked in cross world PF? Which is default i think.
I dont understand how you label a post in PF as spam tho

Nor have i never heard of anyone get reported/banned for advertising their FC in shout chat in cities.

Does TOS states you can't sell content?
I guess selling powerlevel kits for crafting is bannable then?
