Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker x Sailor Moon Crossover

I had a crazy idea about a new potential crossover.

Since a new Sailor Moon movie launched on Netflix some days ago, why not making a cooperation between Koei Animation and Square Enix. *HA*

I mean in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker we are practically taking our first steps on the moon - there would be no better opportunity to connect it to the Sailor Moon lore doesn't it? What i call a "perfect fit"









REWARDS? Sailor outfits for female chars + tuxedo mask outfit for the males.

And of course a "in the name of the moon i will punish you" - pose.

Crazy you say? Not crazier than implementing Nier Automata or Monster Hunter.

Wouldn't Square have to get permission from PNP first (before Toei)? Since Naoko Takeuchi owns Sailor Moon and PNP is her company. I don't know if she licenses it to Toei now or what, but I'm pretty sure every decision regarding the series has to be run through her first so I think it's ultimately up to her whether or not we even get a collaboration. The only other Sailor Moon video game collaborations that exist currently are on mobile phone games like LINE Play and Puzzles & Dragons or the Puyo Puyo mobile game for example. If there was one, I think they'd also have to choose between the 90s anime or Crystal which is the revival anime. As a Sailor Moon fan I think it'd be cool but at the same time I don't really see it happening. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

As much as I like both of these things, they dont really go together beyond some aesthetic design choices and glamour options.
One doesnt really have anything to do with the other.
That said though, feel free to fantasize all you like.

Technically Hildibrand doesn’t go together with this game, but it’s some of the best parts of it. The x-over doesn’t need to be really serious, just fun.
