FFXIV Frequently Crashes In Dungeons Requiring Hard Shut Down of PC

Hello,

For the past few weeks, I've consistently experienced crashes during 4 person dungeons where my screen freezes, audio stutters, and I'm unable to perform any other actions (alt+tab, alt+f4, etc.). This crash forces me to hard shut down my computer to restart. I've only ever experienced these crashes during 4 person dungeons, so the 24 person raids, 8 party instances, and general exploration in the overworld are not a problem.

I've tried troubleshooting the issue by updating my graphics settings (both low and high), updating my drivers, monitoring my temperature (everything seems normal during gameplay), re-installing the game, and reseating my GPU and RAM. I've also tried closing any other programs (no music streaming, no internet browsers open, etc.).

I've tried to run diagnostics but my Event Viewer is only reflecting the error that I've shut down my PC without properly logging out first and nothing about the actual crash itself.

I can play other games without issue but it's only FFXIV that's creating this problem.

I've been having the exact same issue for the past few weeks, too. Although my crashes started during cutscenes and recently evolved into 4-man dungeons.
I haven't gotten close to finding the cause yet.

I am curious though, are you additionally experiencing random audio stuttering in general use of your computer, especially whenever trying to load things? Not neccessarily in game, but in browser and stuff too?

No audio issues out of the game for me. Other games and programs - running simultaneously or alone - run fine, audio and all.

if you set the FPS 1:1 cap or 1:2 cap. Are you still crashing?

Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
