    Launching the game without restarting my computer = black screen crash

    Edit: Reinstalled driver using the geforce experience and it started up fine next I tried. No issues so far. Seems resolved.

    Hi,
    For the past week, I've been having this issue where, upon clicking "Play" on the launcher, FFXIV launches and black-screens. I have to close it with Task Manager (seems to close smoothly), and am unable to play until I have restarted my computer. When I do restart my computer after a crash like this, I have to force restart (shut down with button & turn back on) because it just... won't restart/shut down through the Startup menu. It stays on the "Shutting down" or "Restarting" screen forever.

    Thus far this only happens once a restart.

    I believe this issue may have started after I updated my graphics driver and I did not realize I had the game running (which crashed the game).

    I've tried making sure any firewall settings include FFXIV as a safe process, made sure Internet Explorer was at default settings (heard that may interfere), and made sure my graphics drivers & Windows were up-to-date.
    The only other things I am running are the same things I've always run with FF up: Discord, Steam, Google Chrome, and my peripheral programs (Corsair, Razer & Redragon Perdition mouse program).

    I've edited the boot file so that the following is true (underlined is what needed to be changed):
    B4EulaAgreement = 1
    Language = 1
    Region = 2
    EulaAgreement = 1
    BootVersionCheckMode = 1
    ConfigReset = 0
    StartupCompleted = 1
    CutsceneMovieOpening = 1

    I play on Fullscreen.
