Youtube heavily lagging while ingame

Hey guys,

I have troubles lately with watching youtube while playing FFXIV. This is going on for a while and it annoys me to no end. So here the thing: I have 2 monitors and usually run the game on my primary and have YT on my secondary monitor. Whenever I click the Browser YT runs smooth af but whenever I click on the game again YT starts lagging like hell, often freezing the last frame and dont go on at all. Ah, to be perfectly clear, the audio of the vid continues without issus but the visuals stops going forward.

I tried all the usual stuff. Different browsers, different plattforms (YT and Twitch). Allways the same result. I also increased the browsers CPU prio and decreased games prio in task manager. Still no effect. Latest Windows Update is installed, also Firefox updated. No Change.

Im running out of Ideas. Any of you have similar issues and know a solution? I'm thankful for every idea. ^_^

Oh yea, almost forgot, i'm on Win10 64b with an GTX1070, intel i7@4,2ghz and 16gb ram.

Noteworthy, there was no hardware change lately. I have this setup for like 4 years now and the problem started occuring way later...

Disable ad blocker if you have one. They can cause issues. Though it's odd it's doing it with the game running. I don't have this issue. It would be network related, not hardware.

I'd guess it happens because your monitors have different hz. Let's say, one of them is 144 and another is 60. If you put first one to 120, it should solve the issue.
At least that's what helped my friend.

Hmm, this might be an option. At least one is 4k, one is 1080p.
Generally a poop Idea. Didn't want to buy 2 4k ad the same time. ^^

But I try that with the hz. ^^

For some reasen this worked... kinda. At least Twitch is way better now. YT still has issues but less than before... still not really satisfying :/ And still a mystery why it does that in the first place.
