To be fair, and understand this is coming from only the best of places: your behavior is extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, hypocritical. In multiple threads you've exhibited harassing behavior, nitpicking, and adhoms where you've attacked people based off of their personality rather than addressing what they've said and/or any points they've made. It's not fair of you to expect the best of others when you've given the worst of yourself.

I don't agree. I feel like this forum is overly toxic, and that people gang up on those that they do not like for having a differing opinion. I also feel like there are a lot of trolls who are trying to get a few minutes of notoriety, and that the moderators here aren't able to contain it all for some reason. I suspect that it has something to do with the fact that when they used to deal with behavior, the community got very angry with how they handled it. I think it was because there was some behavior from the moderators that people did not appreciate, and as a result to that, the moderators here are just kind of quiet in comparison to how they used to be, instead of just adjusting their behavior, but still maintaining more of a presence. It's also been a thing in game for awhile too. People used to talk to the mods like they were people, but now they just give you blanket responses, and ban people for things they don't know that they did. It's all a big mess.

On top this, the community has taken a turn for the worse ever since Shadowbringers. Don't get me wrong, all games have a toxic population of users, but ever since we became the top selling MMMORPG, we have inherited a lot of negativity. I miss the days before Shadowbringers a lot, because people definitely weren't as bad to each other as they can be now.

I feel like people here have misunderstood me, and it's making me very depressed. I just want to express my voice without being treated like crap. It shouldn't be that hard! And quite frankly, it doesn't matter what you think I have done, if you keep derailing a thread about a certain issue by not talking about that issue, then you're no better than the things you accuse me of doing. It does the community a complete disservice. Imagine if we had wrote the majority of these pages on how we would like to see content like Zadnor improved. Maybe these suggestions could go to Square Enix, but with all the drama ensuing for absolutely no good reason, I suspect that don't they won't even bother.

You can't keep witch hunting people for one thing they did, or made up things you claim they did. It absolutely is not fair, and I don't care how many people say "oh well life isn't fair", it doesn't mean we get to be jerks to each other. I have absolutely had it to here with the way people have treated me on these forums for the last four years. I want it to stop. Honestly, I am at such a level of annoyance over this as a customer, that I might just write to Square Enix, and ask them to PLEASE step up their moderating, because the way I'm treated on here makes me feel uncomfortable.

If I could name change and clear everything on the forums, in order to completely start over, I absolutely would. Until then, people will continue to have a bias against me, and treat me like crap for it. The same things I post, people give me crap for, but then they turn around do it to others, and then they make a big deal about how they have such wonderful suggestions.

I am not my character, I am a human being, and I should be seen as a person behind this computer from which I am typing from. Please remember that. No one is perfect, but we should all strive to be kind to each other, and to quit bullying. Also, for the love of all things consentfuly aware, if someone asks you to stop doing something to them, you just do it. It's common sense. I shouldn't have to keep asking people to stop saying unkind things to me on here.

Then please tell me why, in a thread where someone vented about being able to leave their FC, you proceeded to essentially tell them that they were probably at fault, maliciously, and said that if any FC they were in found that thread, that they’d probably get kicked from there too?

But when you vent about an arguably more trivial issue (you seeing an emote you are unable to obtain.) you expect everyone to treat you with undue kindness and respect?

You need to give what you expect. If your life on these forums is spent constantly talking down to others, exhibiting rude and malicious, inflammatory behavior, and making veiled threats and assumptions, then why do you expect others to treat you any differently from how you treat others?

Guarantee* the only thing anyone can say about me on these forums is ad hominem attacks on my personhood, or that I’m sometimes dumb (like... legitimately stupid). There’s been one (1) time where I fished for a specific response, actively. I clarified my stance on the issue, if the person doesnt understand then I’d be more than happy to further clarify. I treat everyone on the forums with the same amount of respect I wish to be afforded (again, with one exception, and again, if this person wishes for further clarification as to why, they are more than welcome to ask).

Treat people with respect and maybe, just maybe, your past responses won’t come back to bite you.

But the premise of the thread, I agree. Whilst I don't mind the idea of focusing on one zone (it's actually less of a pain that running all over the place), even then a FATE might be gone by the time you get there. Though it's only certain FATEs. People bemoan that people aren't rezzing after FATEs or CE's and I expect this is why. I find when I stop to rez people I miss out on the next FATE. FATEs are at least are frequent enough, but I feel maybe about half of them need to be tuned better.

This whole thing of "it's fine do better" is silly, because nowhere else are they tuned this badly. I feel like this isn't even intentional, especially as it wasn't so much of a problem in the Southern Front.

Though I would actually prefer more CE's and fewer FATEs. This game uses FATEs too much, I mean, they're made relic phases a choices between FATEs and Bozja...so why not just do without FATEs in Bozja and fill it with just much more regular CE's and those who wanna FATE train have FATEs already in the open world. This is supposed to be FFXI inspired content, FATEs don't emulate that. CE's at least feel closer to concepts like Bastion or Resistance and are restricted like NM's and have boss mechanics like NM's whilst being a working FFXIV flavour of it instead of dull copy pasta.

Here is the issue as mentioned before the internet never forgets. One needs to make certain they are okay with what they post cause you never know when it will be used agaisnt you.

Accept the fact you are a hypocrite everyone is a hypocrite in one way or another.

Overall though life is not fair and people do not owe others kindness or respect simply for existing despite what others may want to think or try to push. Also I will be blunt I doubt many care about your mental health issues, that is your problem and your problem alone.You need to seek help for it and take actions to avoid things that may have a negative impact on your mental state, not expect others to conform. By others I means strangers on a forum as an example.
