Thread: Letter from the Producer LIVE LXV: Ask Your YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse Questions!

Deciding what each of the three instances will contain and be about must be incredibly difficult, especially if fans are clamouring for a specific location or encounter that was originally seen in NieR:Automata (I'd love to have seen the Amusement Park!). How early on do you decide what each chapter will be and what content will it contain? When we were first told about the Dark Apocalypse series at the Fan Fest in Paris, was the general outline already finalised?

I think many of us NieR/Drakengard players were very surprised that the story was so simple. It seemed like we were left with more questions than answers, and every time it seemed like we were about to get some answers, something else happened, and we only got more confused! XD

The story almost felt like a prologue or an ending A, and I wonder if this was intentional? Are we ever going to find out why the seed of destruction decided to visit other worlds, or what happened for Anogg to be "brought back to life"?

For Yoko Taro:

What was it like being in the passenger seat this time around, and each time Yoshi P said "no, not in my story!"

Who worked on which parts of the story and raids?

Which parts did Yoko Taro have full creative control over, and which parts were designed or influenced by the FFXIV team?

Are we ever going to get the Flight Unit as a mount ? it would be amazing to have it please yoshi-p and yoko taro

Is there a reason why there was no voice-acting in Nier raids?

Back in Orbonne Monastery, voice acting played a lot in the bosses personalities but Nier was surprisingly silent.

To Naoki Yoshida san:
Any plans on adding one more additional level to the novice network on telegraphed attacks and increase the exp gain of the Brand New Ring for higher level 50-60 as incentive to encourage new players to play for the content and not pay for the skip?

Thanks for throwing the Square Enix Inc Building at us and keeping in the small details to NDA alliance raids.

Was there going to be a different ending to the story in the case the majority of the players from a server chose Konogg over Anogg?

What was the reason behind the decision for making the majority of the gear sets from the Tower at Paradigm's Breach based on characters from NieR Automata? The Fending and Maiming are two of my favourites, but they really stand out as being different from rest the line up.
