Sorry, this mythical hive-mind does not exist. And at this point, in all likelihood, if you know how to do your rotation, you'll exceed the aggro list of most people in the party, essence or not. Why?

Anyone competent still doing relics is doing POTD runs to 200.

That's it. If the average run is >30 minutes in PF, you may as well run POTD. So when you remove the people who (1) are good but hate DR, so they're willing to just level off-classes and accept a slower rate or (2) are good but have the single-segment time investment to run POTD?

Yeah, DR is going to suck. That's on you for still doing dead content.

The difference between runs with/with no essences is 30 - 35min.

DR is rather economical now since it drops both artifacts and raw emotions. And not everyone has groups ready to tackle the 100+ floors of PotD (since you need a premade for that and it's also dull).

It's not too much to expect everyone to carry their weight. Just bring SOMETHING to speed runs up. In randoms it can mean the difference between a 30 min run and an hour. People shouldn't be resistant to this.

Carrying implies I would not even clear without you, if you and all your other pals who love to always use an essence never que'd and it was just me and my non essence friends... Guess what!? I would have to disagree a bit there. If they were 100% scaled with that belief they would have been near unbeatable without them

You can now buy a Duelist, Fiendhunter, and Elder for 5 clusters each in Zadnor. Even if you don't intend to use pure essences, something like Beast + Assassinate or Ordained + Chainspell boosts your burst DPS significantly. And these items drop all the time in Bozja. Delubrum runs don't have to take 40 minutes. They can take 15 minutes if people just bothered to use essences. An Aetherweaver or Martialist can do 20k DPS if you run out of DPS essences (and Aetherweaver and Martialist are so common and are like 500 gil on the market board). Flare Star, Rend Armor, and Dervish and the pure essences also drop from within Delubrum itself.

Anyone who is not using these essences and actions are intentionally trolling the raid by making a 15 minute run 45 minutes.

Not only am I not farming essences, I've been doing a lot of these at work on my laptop using their crappy wifi, so I'm generally distracted and hitchy through a lot of the run. Plenty of times I've had to actually step away for a few minutes mid fight, and I'm usually dead when I get back, lol.

Doesn't it make you all so mad? Don't you wish there was something you could do about it?

Just don't complain the next time you queue into a roulette and someone's AFKing, not AoEing, not DPSing as a healer. You're essentially that person in DR.

I never do complain, but this isn't really an apt comparison. Expecting people to do mechanics and play their class in the content they queued for isn't the same as expecting them to farm, spend gil and do a bunch of external prep work for a normal DR raid.

May as well get mad that the people doing normal SHB raids aren't pentamelded and using high level foods/pots because of what a significant time difference that would make.

I'm level 15 now, and after cashing in the measly fragments you get from CEs/FATES I had exactly 4 decent, usable essences for my job and a bunch of crap. The Relic steps I've been doing outside of Bozja, so I'd only run CLL and DR once prior. Running Bozja proper gets you virtually nothing unless you get lucky.

I plan to use all of the essences I have, but won't be farming/buying more.
