Sorry, this mythical hive-mind does not exist. And at this point, in all likelihood, if you know how to do your rotation, you'll exceed the aggro list of most people in the party, essence or not. Why?

Anyone competent still doing relics is doing POTD runs to 200.

That's it. If the average run is >30 minutes in PF, you may as well run POTD. So when you remove the people who (1) are good but hate DR, so they're willing to just level off-classes and accept a slower rate or (2) are good but have the single-segment time investment to run POTD?

Yeah, DR is going to suck. That's on you for still doing dead content.

If you want martialist/aetherweaver you can probably farm closer to 30ish fragments in that time as they drop as many as three at a time if you're killing the rank III turtles.

It's the other essences like skirmisher and ordained that are a hassle because they only drop one at a time regardless of what you're killing.

You could make that gil back and more running 1-man SB maps and selling the drops or server hopping looking for items to flip with the time it would save on DR.
Gil isn't hard to come by at all.

If I'm leveling, absolutely. But it's 6 gil food like flatbread for the 3% exp buff and certainly not HQ raid food.

Yes I do, I also use food, and I even meld my lowbie gear for safe measure.

The thing is, you don't even really need everyone doing it.

The problem is when people don't use essences and then complain DR takes too long. Do people shoot themselves in the foot then complain about their limp?
