You are trolling if you are not using essences and actions in Delubrum

Delubrum gives those fragments and if you've been doing a little Bozja at all you should already have tons of Chainspell, Assassinate, and the tier 2 essences like Beast and Ordained.

Delubrum drops between zero and 1 fragments on average, and 9 times out of 10 it's the action and not the essence.

And yeah I have tons of beast, which doesn't increase my dps so doesn't speed up the run at all.

And I think all the chainspell I have is 3 that I got from a quest reward. And I've finished my first relic so that probably counts as "a little bozja".

Don't get pissed when the people who carry you complain about your weight.

Except you ain't carrying a thing. Carrying implies I would not even clear without you, if you and all your other pals who love to always use an essence never que'd and it was just me and my non essence friends... Guess what!? We would still clear without you! xD But if it makes you feel good about yourself to complain and feel like a righteous martyr then go on ahead. As if it will make a difference lol

That's what I did when DR first came out because I had already used all my ordained/skirmisher doing castrum and only got back 1/10 of what I was using.

Nah, carrying is when one or more person put in a disproportionate amount of work compared to the rest of their party. If person A does 3k but person B does 13k and theyre on the same job, person A is on B's back.

Longer runs also increase the chances of wipes btw.

I would love to see this fictional 15 minute delubrum run, would be amazing to witness. :P

I've been apart of one, actually. Most DPS were running Deep essences, almost every healer had Profane or Aetherweaver and several tanks took Irregular. We blew the bosses away so fast we literally phased them. Ravana clone died in under three minutes, the Pickle mini boss after dropped in 45 seconds, Hot and Cold chick was under 15% was she started Ladders and Queen jumped ahead to her Edict script because she was nearly dead.

All this was before 5.55 by the way. So with the new Valor buffs, we'd likely push that run to under 10 minutes. People seriously underestimate how utterly absurd your damage output can be. For reference sake, our top three DPS were all over 35k. And out of 24 people, only two weren't above 10k.

Now I would never expect this in a random DF group. This party was advertised in PF specifically to trash bosses. With that said though, I do think Essences should have been made mandatory for queuing simply because the bosses are scaled with the belief you'll have them. Part of the fault, however, lies on the devs for not better incentivizing them. Far too few fragments drop from DR itself. They also missed a perfect opportunity to stuff low grade Essences in lockboxes instead of yet more useless prisms. The problem is many players simply don't like Bozja and are only partaking in it for their relic. They aren't going to spend gil or farm clusters because they don't care about the content to begin with. The dev team needs to stop assuming people will go out of their way without a big incentive or being outright forced.

Nevertheless, you are 100% leeching off other players if you queue into DR without an Essence. Defend it however you like but the DPS difference is staggering—enough it'd be the equivalent of you going into Tower at Paradigm's Breach and freestyling your rotation. A tank using a baby Materialist will handily out-damage a naked Samurai. If you're okay with that, to each their own, I suppose. Just don't complain the next time you queue into a roulette and someone's AFKing, not AoEing, not DPSing as a healer. You're essentially that person in DR.

Exactly. Not using an essence is basically the equivalent of being permanently on Brink of Death.
