    The Phoenix Timer is connected to the Trance Timer, not Demi-Bahamut. It may merely be that they rushed their Trance before you did and summoned Bahamut way later. (For example, you can use Dreadwyrm Trance, end it, then wait like 60 seconds and you could use Bahamut and Phoenix back to back... not recommended, though.)

    How can you tell for sure they used Dreadwyrm Trance after you did and not before?
