Menphina's Earring EXP boost vs Road to 70

Hi all,

Does anyone know the interaction between the experience boost you get from Menphina's earring and the Road to 70 experience boost you get through preferred servers?

I feel like I'm not leveling up as fast as I did with another character I had. Perhaps because I have the earring equipped, it nullifies the Road to 70 boost, or vice versa?

There are a few factors that might be involved here. Firstly the exp boosts do stack, so there is no issue there. But you'd need to look at some of the other factors involved.

• Are you at a job level 71+? In which case the road to 70 buff won't apply.

• Were you using food at all while leveling? That +3% can go a long way.

• Did you have rested Exp (the blue on your exp bar) and is it gone now? The rested exp is used up quite fast at lower levels, and is a 100% (I think) boost on top of the other bonuses. If its gone that might be one of the reasons.

• Is your server still preferred? The road to 70 buff only lasts for 90 days or however long the server is preferred, whichever is longer. There was a recent server shuffle, so maybe your world isn't preferred anymore.

These are just some of the basics, there are a few other factors, like mentor bonus or armory bonus. The most likely issue is a source of bonus exp is missing for some reason.
