Add more glamour plates

Math is a processing resource, items are a storage resource, these are not the same thing. Using the calculator on your phone does not take up harddrive space. Removing belts has nothing to do with the stat squish, they are separate endeavors. Belts are being removed because we're running out of armory space and they don't seem to have the ability to expand that. So they remove belts and redistribute those slots.

They are doing the stat squish because the numbers are reaching the limits of certain data sizes and going beyond those would require restructuring everything. For example the maximum value of an unsigned 32 bit integer is 4,294,967,295. Anything bigger than that and the number simply will not fit in the available data structure. Stat squishes are performed to keep numbers from ever reaching those critical points.

Yes they can, that's why they added the choco saddlebag, that extra inventory does not follow you to the instance servers. The 140 inventory limit is the global. Inventory is done in tiers in this to allocate server resources appropriately. Glamour closet is in a quasi-instance resource in the inn. Coffers are only able to opened in towns because those contents do not exist in the instance servers or open world. All sorts of cutouts exist in the game to expand inventory operations without really deleting anything. The limit is based on how much they want to balance on the server side to always-follow the character. Stats and currency is also part of this inventory equation in any MMO. Always-follow resources could be moved around appropriately or via cutouts. It's a balancing act. Like if they add +5 glamour plates, it could cost them the ability to add +10 inventory slots in the future.

The belt removal does tie into resources because you are just thinking of idle action and not overhead operations when people are on the map killing mobs and hunts, thousands of people with less unique inventory and stats. There is a gain without another set of unique variables to track.

Keep the current number of plates, but make them unique for each job. Would save them having to update the UI, and would give us tons more glam options.

Another zero behind the number of items in the dresser would also be quite welcome, but if we had 15 x 31 glam plates, I could probably make due with the current number.

Yeah, my bags are full of glam stuff too lol.
I think the WoW system works way better where you just unlock the skin by receiving the item once, it would be much more convenient.

100%, I keep hoping they'll eventually change to a system like that.

As far as the number of Glamour Plates, there definitely ought to be one for each Jobs, crafters included.

Considering Crafters finally can get their own Job Crystals, I'd almost say they should just tie Glamour Plates to the Crystals, for whenever they add new Jobs as well.

Yes, i'm stupid and crazy and perhaps have a bit too much money.. but.. i bought nearly all glamour sets from the shop and I'm unable to put everything in the dresser. Even when I exclude all male stuff (I play female atm) and put them on a retainer...
