The ARR Relic questline was all fun and games... until those stupid BOOKS...

I'm gonna be real; those "Books" have broken my will to go on. Those things are just SO monotonous, not to mention having to complete them all separately.

I feel like one or two of those books would be enough of a roadblock to make progress feel earned, but freaking 9 of them?! Insane, my dudes. In--sane.

Maybe those who already completely the ARR Relics will feel differently -- and honestly, I wouldn't blame you, you guys clearly put in a TON of work getting them -- but I'd personally kind of dig getting a *slight* nerf to this. Or rather, maybe restructuring the process a bit, like combining the books into a single book, where players can make more of a circuit to work towards everything, instead of "port around a buncha random spots, do some dungeons, turn in the book, repeat".

I dunno. Thoughts? Like I said, particularly for those who already completely their ARR Relics, are there improvements you would recommend, that still feel "fair" to the investment you already made?

There's variety in those books and I'll take a bit of everything over stuff like option A or B in absurd quantities like we have for the current relic.

I wish they'd let you take all the books at once instead of going back and forth. It certainly killed my enthusiasm to get any more relics after the first.

The books are way more dynamic and make you wander around the map at least instead of doing DR 2149820938 times.

This is their nerfed state. If this is where you want to draw the line...well, you are going to be in for a rude awakening very soon. This isn't even the worst part. That sums up my thoughts.

While I do appreciate that new relics come along new content (Eureka and Bozja) instead of rerunning old dungeons, I'd be nice if the grinding was a bit more varied instead of "do 500 FATEs that die in a few seconds" or "run this dungeon 1000 times".

Better the variety of content the books ask you to do than the monotonous light farming you have yet to reach.
