Why you can't kick people in combat?

This is really starting to bother me, especially during raids. I was this close to getting rid of a leech tank, all of the dps stopped dpsing, wanted to wipe and kick him but our sprout healer did not stop healing.

For how long has this option been like that? Why is this game so leech friendly?

Because it would be far too easy to kick players who have done nothing wrong during the last boss to hog all the loot to yourself.

From the sound of things, not everyone agreed with you that the tank was leeching.

People would just kick to stop people looting. Leechers are not so often there. Mostly I see them in MSQ jus afk at the start of the area. They are easy enough to kick usually.

I get it that the dev wants more content that accommodate the less experienced player by having them semi-carried by the more experienced players—I am perfectly fine by that. It’s those 100% deadweight freeloader that bothers me somewhat.

Sure, all it takes is to call them out without actually naming them directly to get them start actually working together, or leave the instance (or that’s probably a fake dc, who knows). That however, gets old pretty quick.

True those should be added too. No reason to not have a kick feature for those who AFK or DC on purpose. We had a tank the other day DC on start of DR only to come back during the duty and see we were at the 4th boss, leave again and then return once more for the last boss. Party kicked him from the party but he was still in the instance.

It doesn't matter. Just beat the raid. If you all wipe, you can initiate the kick before the next pull. If you didn't wipe, then there isn't a problem because you all got the clear.

I get more leeches these days in alliances, I guess because of the relic steps, and its impossible to kick them for it most times.
Before the chest timer runs out another will be opened and they can afk for yet another boss.

Yes, there is because they will not be held accountable for their actions in the game. If we go by your logic if someone starts cursing and harassing random people because of their personal issues as long as you get the clear everything is fine. No, it is not.
