Leveling just isn't hard. It does take some work, but you could get to level 30 in a few hours. It doesn't work like you kill mobs and gain 1 level a day because that's history, although that was a thing in Eureka which has its own leveling system.

I agree, it's way too fast. I have an 80 DNC and 79 PLD and I'm still with sprout. When PLD hit's 80 I will have to take my summoner up next. I have all my crafters and gatherers at 80, I should have all my DPS, Tank and Healer classes at 80 before I even get into Shadowbringers at this rate.

As in, way too fast. I'm leveling my character to now 50 just by doing the main story quests and the occasional dungeon pickup group.
Am I the only one that thinks it's TOO fast? Does it slow down after a certain level, or is it just a rocket ship to level cap now?
People confuse this game's leveling with leveling up the job/class. That's like 20% of it.
The game's true leveling has always been leveling up your gear. It's a straight vertical of ilvl without much in the way for options. You may hit 80 quickly, but you got to get up to ilvl 500 to start doing endgame stuff. That'll take longer lol.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Well, you're not the only one but I think we're definitely in the minority! Personally, I always hit a minor bump from 70 to 80 and end up with a abundance of jobs in the seventies. It's probably more from thinking "It's nearly done, no rush to entirely finish it right away" than any real difference in levelling, though. I just wish there was an option to begin all jobs at level 1, or at least no higher than 30, considering how quickly they level.
I find it infuriating as the game wasnt meant to cap out so soon as Im leveling a alt and ita mid 60s before Parting glass which means some vital skills are locked up until HW ending and job quests lock my progression and dungeons and instances syncing me down all the time. It isnt beneficial its very poor game design added ontp the freebie new jobs that start way way too late and the putrid level curves but idk alot of people like it. then again alot of people like free stuff

Still think side-quests should have given enough exp to level multiple jobs to max. There are so many of them and doing 100 of them gives hardly one level, it's absolutely insane.
