I'll never understand the logic of "maybe I don't have time to grind for fragments" from players who somehow have more than enough time to sit in hour long DR runs instead of 20 minutes (x15 per relic).

All the players with the "I don't have the time" mindset cost each other hours and hours of time.

Well I do have a job I work full time so maybe I don't have as much time to grind as say someone who is home all day or works from home?

If you have so little time to play then it should be in your best interest to get content done as fast as possible.
By using essences.
Which you can acquire by taking a trip to the MB of your prefered city for a small amount of easy to obtain ingame currency.

So instead of spreading the "don't make me use essences, it's not a job!!" mentality, it would save you time to use essences yourself and spread the "please use essences, they are easy to acquire, thank you " message.

The irony here is not only do you use not having enough time as an excuse as to why you intentionally waste other people's time and your own but you also still have enough time to complain about people who are complaining about people wasting their time.

I'll go on record saying I do have the time to farm essences, but I don't want to.

You're using bad logic, though. Me specifically farming essences isn't going to save me any time; I'm 1/24th of the damage output and as a DPS essences only raise my damage 20%. All of that amounts to nothing. I could spend hours farming essences and still end up in 15 slow DR runs, or I could farm zero essences and end up in 15 fast DR runs. It's out of my control in the end, but the one thing I can control is whether or not I waste more time farming trash in Bozja than I have to.

I'll let the people who enjoy Bozja farm fragments; I'm only in it for my relic. If people don't like that I highly suggest they blame SE for using the relic to force funnel people who hate that kind of content into it.

It's because most people follow this mindset that runs take an hour. You don't ever solve a problem by being a part of it.

You can't solve that problem period. So, you have 2 options: A. You can farm essences and run 15 DRs where you have no control over the duration, or B. You can NOT farm essences and run 15 DRs where you have no control over the duration.

I'll take option B. I don't care about trying to solve some macro issue in content I don't like; I just want my relic so I can leave Bozja and never come back. Spending time farming essences doesn't get me to that goal quicker.

I'm 1/24th of the damage in DR and an essence would only increase my damage 20%.

The ones using mental gymnastics are the ones trying to convince people that spending hours farming essences will actually be a net gain for them. It won't. The duration of any DR you're in is not under your control.
