Sound Effects Muted and Music Issues - PS5

ISSUE: This is a newer issue and sound was working normally even through patch. I noticed yesterday, however. My character does not whistle when summoning mounts, random areas will not play background music, and the quest acceptance music does not play. Beast Tribe sound effects do not play.

Things I have tried:
Verifying TV was NOT muted - issue persists
Logging off and back in - issue persists
Totally resetting in-game settings - issue persists

I am experiencing this as well! After 5.55 went live, occasionally (especially during 24-man raids) the background music would not play either during or in-between fights. Random other sounds are not playing as well as mentioned by OP, but I have not verified all they mentioned personally. Here is my information:

As I also wrote in the thread, I haven't experienced it for quite a long time now. I first experienced it on Wednesday after 5.55 release (one night in rest mode), never seen/heard it happen before.

I have a similar issue except on PC. Game works fine then all of a sudden everything becomes muted. It has happened twice since the patch. Exiting game and restarting does work so Im wondering if its a tab out issue.

The music disappeared during Labyrinth of the Ancients for me today. This is the first time I have had something like that happen on PS5. It was there at the beginning of the instance, and then simply vanished, then subsequently reappeared after a couple of bosses.
