I have this issue. I got in fine originally, then did some transferring with items from retainer to armoire in Gridania. At one point I got locked up after talking to the inn NPC after confirming to go in the inn room. Instead of being warped I was frozen and couldn't move my character or camera. I could access the menu, though, so I messed around a bit in the macro section before shutting down the client. I tried again and had this very problem. I even tried rebooting my PC, but it didn't fix anything.
