Character not appearing at the character select screen

IM FREAKING OUT MAN!!!.. that means i got the same problem.. i was going to teleport to gridania.. game froze puff char gone..

So do I, I teleport to gridania and game frost then when I back to character screen it went blank......

Same issue here but I had 1 character showing up on my character select screen, and it was an inactive character that I cancelled.. kinda makes you go "wtf did SE break!?"

Worry not, they're doing maint. Nothing will be lost, worst comes to worst they do a server rollback and you lose the 1hr or so you had to play since the patch >.>

When the character poofs like that it just means the server crashed and was probably shut down for maintence. It can't retrieve the full character data when it can't reach the server :P
