Grand Lethal could work, it's also Zidane's final Dyne in IX.Many of the LB3 names come from existing limit breaks in earlier Final Fantasy games (and don't necessarily have anything to do with the original animation). This is especially true for melee dps and ranged. FFXII's Quickenings have a lot of great names which are untapped. Some unused names include:
Grand Lethal
Requiem
Fulminating Darkness
Ruin Impendent
Element of Treachery
If they're going for something original, they could always go with something edgy like Bloody Harvest or Massacre. Definitely has to involve summoning a cackling Grim Reaper, though.
Dumpster fire
“Skeith” ?
I'd call it Armageddon.
The LB3 for the Reaper will be exactly the same as the other melee DPS. Try not to cut yourself with so much edge.
Functionally, yeah, but the name of the Limit Break is unique. MNK LB3 is called Final Heaven, DRG LB3 is called Dragonsong Dive, NIN LB3 is called Chimatsuri, and SAM LB3 is called Doom of the Living. They all use the same damage calculation, but they all have unique names and animations. That's kinda the point of this thread, "what will it be named".
There hasn't been any visual demon of Reaper's LB3 yet, yes? So I guess I'm stuck at wild guessing with these:
- Jack The Ripper
- Darkness Unleashed
- Void Anthem
- Bloody Anathema
- Killer Doll
- Umbral Carnage
- Wailing of The Tormented
- Fatal End
- Cursed Howling
- Rigor Mortis
Okay I'm outta of idea![]()
Yeah I agree with the FFXI DRK WS names. Entropy, Insurgency, Catastrophe... guess it depends if it's a name already used somewhere in game or not
I would name it "Terminus Est".
