Ps5 trophies

Hey guys,

So finally got ffxiv on the ps5 which plays really well. I’ve played ffxiv on PC and dabbled a little on PS4. My question is, is there an npc I can talk to to unlock all the trophies I should of unlocked? In ffxi on 360 I was pretty sure you could talk to an box that would examine your game then unlock and trophies you may have unlocked on a different system.

For the PS5 just redo or do the stuff and it automatically credit you with the trophies that you had.

Yeah in FFXI there was just an NPC to talk to, but for FFXIV you have to do whatever the achievement is for in order to get it. So crafting one thing will pop the crafting achievement, doing a quest will pop the quest achievement etc. Some of them are more forgiving than others, I think the ones for specific content only pop for running that specific content again and not just when you do any dungeon or raid.

This doesn't entirely work. For example, if you're already max rank in your grand company, its impossible to then unlock the achievement for reaching the rank of captain. There's also achievements that aren't impossible, but trickier since you'll need to get others to help you even if you completed them before, such as clearing the savage tiers of Alexander and Omega.

But so far, no. I've not found a way to get the game to sync up with my PlayStation profile.

Do a GC turn in and it'll unlock. As for everything else, yeah, you have to do one of or redo the requirements.

This sounds like a great job for Jonathas to take on. I’m sure he is lonely after the changes to the in game rewards.
