WHM Materia Questions for Endgame content

My WHM just recently hit 80 and I am going through post SHB content, unlocking Eden raids, YorHa, soon to be getting into the Resistance content and getting my resistance weapon and all other fun end game things I have to do.

As the post title says I am wondering what is the current go-to materia choice for WHM? I have seen posts as recent as just last year that seemed to change between a Crit>D.Hit>Det build or a Crit>Det>D.Hit build for materia choices. Is this still the current norm for WHM materia melding or has something changed recently for a better stat priority?

I do not run with a dedicated team for trials or raids I mainly use the duty roulette but I do plan on running extremes at a later date (mounts! ) and maybe looking into savage, never run them before but I get the feeling those are content that needs a tailor-made team of people who know their roles and the fights inside and out. Future goal but currently I can admit it is out of my reach for the time being.

I will be also heading over to the discord channel and checking out the guides as well there I just like covering all bases when gathering information for my characters. Thanks to any and all who comment!

Piety to comfort > Crit > Purely Preference between DH/Det > SpS

Melding DH will provide a miniscule dps increase and Det provides a miniscule heal increase. The difference is sub 1% and the chance either will have any sort of impact on your run is equally small. If someone dies by 100 hp after a heal, Det might have saved them and DH might have saved a 0.1% enrage wipe. Pick whichever you feel better with.

Piety to comfort depends entirely on the encounter, player ability, how messy a run is and so on. You generally get plenty on gear naturally starting out and you can replace Piety pieces if you feel you have no mana issues. It's important to have enough but it's rare you ever need to meld it.

WHM doesn't really have a set SpS target, so any amount is generally fine.

As much crit as possible and as little pie as possible. Det, DH, SS however you want to fill in the gaps.
