Hyperion partially crashed

Sounded like the beginning to a bad horror story for me myself. I was running in Ul'dah and no NPCs anywhere to be found. Being slightly creeped by this I notice in LS chat about the worlds crashing etc. Checking the LS the numbers dropped from 16 to 4 in a matter of minutes. So I decide to run out of town and survive this apocolypse, running from camp to camp never staying in one place for too long. Outside the city I try and call my choco but no response from my faithful bird so I am only left with the option of running to my quest. Not a single mob in sight that I used to curse for aggroing in my younger happier days, now it was eerie without them and the BGM for Ul'dah still plays instead of the Thanalan area music. I see my chars life flashing before my eyes as I try to escape this fate. I almost make it to the destination and get the dreaded kick message.
