I second this. Having to do Castrum and Southern Front CEs makes no sense. I did CT last night in the hopes of getting more, but it only rewards one per raid.
So basically the fastest way to get Loathsome is to do Castrum.
Then a lot less people would do Bozja and Castrum. That is my only reason for doing Castrum now for example, and if this was changed, other people would lack the help I'd otherwise be providing.
Nah, all they need to do is make the respective drops in said content areas drop a bit more. Kind of like the 5 you get from CLL or the 3 you get from Dalriada.
Especially considering how soul draining DR is when more than half the people don't use actions...
It's not just the lack of essences/actions there are always at least a handful of people in there who are just sorta looking busy but barely contributing. Given the time it takes to complete it should drop considerably more artifacts or failing that have the bosses HP cut dramatically to make it slightly less tedious. Still kinda want them to add artifacts to Zadnor CEs/Skirms at a low drop rate to have a reason to do them that doesn't amount to grinding mettle for the sake of grinding mettle and to give the weapon grind a little more variety.
Loathsome memories are super easy go get. Just leave a quest up while you are leveling an alt job in Bozja. By the time you reach 80 you'll have more than 50 memories easy.
The problem is the Timeworn Artifact. The in-content method of running Derubulum is tedious, boring, unrewarding and takes a lot longer than the alternative of just spam PoTD. Derubulum should be dropping at the very least 3 Timeworn Artifacts to be worth running, or be outright revised so that it isn't a boring snoozefest. I run Derubulum 2 days ago after skipping it for 2 months thinking that maybe my bad opinion of it was affected by burn out, but no, it's just plain bad no matter how you look at it.
There is a weekly quest for platinum coils so plenty of people will be running Castrum. You can run that or do alliance raids for Loathsome. There is no reason to kill the southern front to accommodate your request.
Yeah the Timeworn Artifact is sadly now the reason I haven't been too invested in having more weapons done, DR takes so much time for a single drop and you are at mercy of other players for speed completion to add to thatLoathsome memories are super easy go get. Just leave a quest up while you are leveling an alt job in Bozja. By the time you reach 80 you'll have more than 50 memories easy.

In comparison Loathsome memories and Raw Emotions have a decent alternative and gives a nice chunk of drops from doing lengthy raids. (The latter even drops at DR, so talking about more alternatives)
If you’re already asking for a buff to loathsome memories drops when they’re terribly easy to get at this point, I’m not sure how much of a buff you will ask for later when you’re grinding for the Timeworn Artifact phase, even moreso if you’re working on multiple weapons.
Having done 255 DRn before 5.5 even drops, and now we get this 180 item + 15 Raw Emotion phase, I’m super positive if there’s any room for improvement, it would be the Timeworn Artifacts. Even Raw Emotions drops 2 (two) pieces from DRn, if’s almost ridiculous that Timeworn Artifacts only drops 1 piece—the previous step.
