Triple Triad Ascension and Plus (and swap) potentially bugged

Ok I've definitely joked about how the triple triad npcs seem like they're cheating when they see lines of play a human would be likely to miss but this is the first time I feel like the games logic is not checking correctly but i hope that im mistaken.

in this example

the npc used the nael van darnus card to plus me between yshtola and the twins
this shouldnt work because the game is seeing 8+9=9+9 (im omitting the plus values for the math since both of my cards have the same plus value the answer would still come out the same)

in this example the opponent is using louisoix to plus my thancred and twins

this also shouldn't work because the game is seeing 8+9=9+9 again

that same game on my next turn i play yshtola in the bottom left corner only to have them plus me again (8+9=9+9) which shouldn't work

this one made me particularly suspicious because the card theyre using to take me isn't modified in any way so I'm unsure how the game is calculating what is and isn't equal.

the rules are cropped out of these last two but its the same npc and the same ruleset (if these arent good enough id understand)

on this board the cpu uses urianger to take my twins when it shouldn't be able to with the plus rule

the game is seeing 4+7=4+9 which shouldnt work

Right after that happens im able to replicate this trick for myself

i play yshtola in the corner and plus my opponent back which by all means should not work because the game is seeing 7+9=8+9

In this version of Triple Triad cards can't have more than 10 value. So 8+5=10 and 9+5=10 on 1st screen.
