I don't think the field notes change anything
especially since characters in both ff12 and ff14 have "died" but actually did not.

They why say the main guy is dead and everyone is now basically just AWOL? That makes zero sense when you could have had them as a side conflict since they werent going to be part of the main enemy in EW.
