    Some deep dungeon qol changes

    After doing 20 floors a day of hoh and potd in a pair and a party respectively, its really noticable how frustrating they can be, yet they are frustrating in ways that don't add to the experience.
    Consequently, there's some quality of life changes square enix can make to the next deep dungeon, or at least the old ones

    Improve hit detection on traps: I lost yet another run in the hoh 80s yesterday to a luring trap. The luring trap was on a specific tile that I stepped on 4 times without triggering when los dodging a garula's aoe.
    yet the moment the passage opened and I stepped on the tile, it triggered and wiped us.
    Similar story in potd, a party of me and 3 randos on floor 93 followed the same route around a few monsters. I passed fine, the smn passed fine, the ast did not, triggered a luring trap and we all died horribly.

    Guarentee silver coffer upgrades if the floor is higher than the gear level: Floor 50+ and only 2/9 silver coffers upgrade my 12/14 gear in potd? ridiculous.

    Change the cairn of passage/return so that they show a number rather than a vague glow to progress How long can we spend on this floor? do we need 4, 5 mobs? 8? 11 even?
    I don't ever want a repeat of the time out from a flight assisted floor after 8 mobs to kill on a damage down wasn't sufficient to open the passage.

    Remove the wipe=lose all floor progress from later floors It takes many hours to get to post 100 in potd and post 60 in hoh, especially with less than 4 players or during solo. DC'd at floor 199 doing the necromancer achievement? Tough luck you got to start again from floor 1 and the hours you spent getting there wasted.

    Adjust pomander distribution and magicite drop rates to be more even For the last 3 weeks me and my EB partner have done floors 21-90 in hoh multiple times. Not once have we seen an elder's magicite.
    Its also very frustrating how different pomanders have different drop rates depending on floor and we have no data on how they drop. We only know that raising is more frequent on floors 21-40 and pretty much disappears entirely after that. We have only had a single raising at 84 even with fortune+affluence+magicite nuke.
    Meanwhile at floor 140+/70+ you trip over alteration. You know that one pomander you never use because sods law states it will be a mimic when you can't afford them

    don't think you will get much sympathy specially not from the few people who reached the top solo

    Reaching floor 200 solo takes a lot of time for what can be one mistake and progress lost. It's one of the few things in the game that offers challenging solo content. I died somewhere before 150 on a RDM after getting trapped among some of the worst enemies, so I went through on a PLD and lacked enough DPS at floor 150. Of all the reasons to fail, a lack of DPS is unfortunate and I don't feel like doing it all again.

    I still wouldn't change it though. That's not the answer. If I didn't have so much other content to do, I would do that and for people not interested in other content, I'm sure this will be their fun and it should not be nerfed.

    Could be nice.

    The pure wasted thing sounds exceptionally frustrating given the potential opportunities that are well outside of player control. . It would be nice if they did something about that. If they felt strongly, ish, about it maybe you have to cleanse the record (big stamp on the run that it's cursed or something) by getting a bunch of differing beast tribe tokens delivered to start back at some # a bit under where you were (or whatever, something that has a cycle associated with it so you can continue your run but it's also not trivially meaningless or hyper punishing either).

    If they don't want to change difficulty, thing I can understand (even if I wish PotD to be more playable solo), at least they could give more saving slots.
