FF14 is doing just fine without, say, Bellular playing it. Nothing against him and if he wants to play it then cool, but we don't NEED him to play it and the game will keep doing just fine if he continues to spend all of his time ranting about a game he clearly has a ton of issues with.
I'd go one step further and say -- you do not want the highly critical WoW content creators coming into the community either OR atleast with the same perspective that they have with WoW.

They have a megaphone and any criticism is broadcasted to their larger audience. Imagine if Asmon did decide to play FF14 -- what if his experience was negative? How would that broadcast to other MMO players or fans?
