I watched a vid recently on someone who left WoW for FFXIV. I did that a couple years ago as well, but they said one thing that has stuck with me especially after I realized the truth of it.

WoW, Blizzard, Activision... have done nothing to earn my money. And it has been a while since they have, and once I heard that, I realized how true it was.

In my view, always subject to change of course, but SE, despite things I would love to have changed in the game, certainly has. I remember my time in WoW with some fondness since back in teh day being able to do anything wasnt the same as having a second full time job, but those days are gone, and so am I from WoW. havent regretted it since
