




It's so strange and disappointing that that's the case. It doesn't seem sensible to me, because you could, for example, buy the complete standard edition for PS4, then buy the complete collector's edition for PC. So why shouldn't you be able to apply a complete collector's edition code on top of a complete standard edition code for the same platform, with just a warning that you already have the complete standard edition license?
That's good. I wish they'd be clearer with the restrictions in the product listing though. It says:
"This can only be applied once" sounds like it applies specifically to the complete collector's edition. Especially since the next sentence implies that it can be used on a platform that you've already bought the standard edition for, but you don't get the 30 day sub time.Originally Posted by FFXIV Complete Collector's Edition Item Listing
