There should be other ways to obtain the Field notes.

One thing I’m glad for is at least the coins all can be converted away (except golds IIRC)… unlike Eurekan Crystals—they’re sitting there forever & does not have any marketable value being untradeable both as a currency & the exchangeable goods.

Spent 2 full lockouts in Bozja today and saw FAF once each. This is not okay.

Best way to spawn faf is in a brand new instance. Kill scorpion's quick before the cluster farmers start. Load in, pop and essence and work fast. You can spawn it with as few as 15 kills. On a side note my last alt got 14 yesterday waiting for castrum to do her weeklies. Done with that annoying note.

agree this is joke from 3 month farming note 14 finally got it and now stuck Dalriada note 45...seriously i play the game from the release of realm reborn i did love the game because it's chilling game that i don't need to be online all the time and not much of grinding i used to even make fun of friends who play wow crying they cant get this mount or that in ffxiv u get the mounts if your luck not with u 99 kill u still get it they if boss fight hard for u next expansions u can get it but now this mount that in map maybe dead next expansions.. and there is that pteranodon mount... and what about mounts with gold 20k mount 50k mount other bad thing in wow unnecessary at all I love collecting mounts pets or whatever and a lot who is like me this is pissing me off.

Really hoping for Endwalker to add the notes as tradables for coins, still don't have the last 3 Field Notes, despite trying on and off since Zadnor was added.

It is ridiculous how difficult it is to get some of these CEs to spawn and then not get the field note. Have been trying to get Sartauvoir's since Bozjan opened and now that Endwalker is coming out I'm guessing Bzojan will be dead like Eureka was for awhile. I hope they provide some other option.

Been spending about 6 hours a day for the last 4 days killing scorpions to spawn FAF for the Sartauvoir notes.
Still no luck.
Still need Lyon I and Menenius II, but just tuning in for Dal and Castrum runs isn't nearly as stressful as popping Of Steel and Flame is.
Luckily, I got Lyon II on my second run of Dal.
Sart is just needlessly cruel, and I have little hope they'll ever fix it.

Ah, the Bozja experience of

- Log into instance.
- Solo spawn FaF while shouting for party, only to never get invited.
- Kill FaF while shouting for party, only to never get invited.
- Kill OSaF while shouting for party, only to never get invited.
- Still wind up getting a high enough rank to qualify for the Field Notes.
- Field Notes don't drop anyway.
- Leave for an hour.
- Start over from Step 1.

Maybe trying to get Sartauvoir's Notes in-between being bombarded with Magicked Prisms is the real reason Fandaniel wanted to bring about the Final Days.

At this point, I guess I should just learn how to do the Fox CE properly, because I'm almost certain I could do the duel cheese.

Started grinding dalriada for a week now, got that ugly ass mount on my 4th run, lyon note on my 27th run. Now i'm currently on my 47th run and meninus note simply doesn't drop, it's just this note i'm missing and i'm starting to lose my sanity....

Meanwhile i met people that started the grinding with me and got 3 meninus and one lyon in 40 runs.

Also tried cheesing duels, but the process of just getting into one it's as painful as grinding dalriada and it's not something easy to pull off with one or two tries, not to mention it became harder with the stat squish. I just want to be free of this crap...

There really should be a way to get notes with coins or something, just like mounts with totems, just gives us a way that we can finally get rewarded for grinding this crap over and over.

Spend enough time in there and you'll get it. Some of those notes used to only be available in duels. I stumbled on my last note earlier this year and I've been going a lot since Bozja first started.

We're well past the point where they're going to even look at doing any further changes to Bozja / Zadnor.
