But since duels are guaranteed drops, and with notoriety system it's been an easier time. Just it still requires time and you get people who compile 4+ notoriety to even do things like Gabe or Lyon. At

Doubtful, look at Eureka. The notes if you actually read them have a rarity ranking on them for a reason. Also because there is a guaranteed route to notes today via duels even if you need to spawn the skirmishes and CEs.

This assumes you can get the F'n fate to spawn to even get a duel. This is the worst system SE ever devised. Even worse than their housing crap. I guess they will blame it on PS2 limitations

If it's Menenius, hope that Acceleration Bomb doesn't explode even when the mechanic is resolved correctly and no longer a debuff even after waiting a full GCD with 2% left.

Here's hoping 5.58 does something about the Field Note grind, especially for the 5-star ranked ones. Legit, Sartauvoir is the absolute worst due to the fact that his notes drop only from either his duel, or a Skirmish that is a 2 parter, requires a lot of set up to spawn it, and it gets blocked so easily by every other skirmish or CE in BSF, and even if you do it, it's still an RNG chance to get it. As for the duel, you need to clear Metal Fox Chaos without getting hit by any laser attacks, then win the Duel lottery to be able to fight him, then beat him to even get the notes. It's the worst RNG grindfest in this entire game, even compared to housing savage.

Ive heard you can get them from the other 2 skirmishes where Sart appears, but ive seen no evidence about that at all.

This is my biggest tip for anyone going for the Duels in Zadnor. If you find yourself in a dying instance and people are leaving. STAY. Myself and my bonded (WAR) 2 manned the CEs for Lyon and Menenius with the massive echo buff that you get. Since we were the only people left in the instance with the duels spawning, I got in with no waiting or notoriety hassle. Both duels were done in an hour with both notes finally in hand.

I would just like a drop rate increase from Castrum and Dalriada. Nothing major, but the duels are getting harder and harder to even qualify for. I only need Lyon I and II now and I can't even get into the Bozja duel because people can't seem to clear the Hunt for Red Choctober anymore. My last 5 attempts I've done all the mechanics perfectly but end up getting slaughtered by tank buster once all of the actual tanks have died.
