This is the exact same thing thats been happening to me as well for some reason i cant log in anymore cause the TOS is like "click here if you read the TOS" and then i can never sign in again.

It can sound like a weird question but did you check "remember me on this device". If you did, try without. If you didn't, check it and try again.

Cookies and sessions can have a weird behavior sometimes.

If you have a disposable email you can try to create a new account to check where things are going wrong.

I usually deselect the remember me option when signing in, have also tried on different browsers and platforms and everywhere i sign in from yields the same result as well

I got an official response back from SE Support and they basically said they're aware of the issue but there's nothing they can do because of high traffic volume on their site breaking stuff. The only workaround I've come up with for this is to reset my password to the same password and when I hit refresh it lets me bypass this checkbox until the cookies expire or are deleted when I clear history.
